DCS is a proud annual sponsor and volunteer for the Community Housing Network. As a local non-profit, they provide much-needed services to those in need, helping build up the community and reduce homelessness and poverty.

We are excited to offer another year of giving through our Holiday Giving Program. Support for those facing eviction and those in need of housing resources is more vital now than ever. With your help, we will be able to provide ongoing supportive housing resources, stable housing, and other essential items for the people we serve, during the holidays and throughout the year.
Many of the people we serve live on very low fixed incomes and have ongoing needs for even the most basic items. Here are a few ways you can help:
Our Adopt A Family Giving Program was started in 2004 to help make the holidays brighter for the people we serve, including formerly homeless families and individuals.
This year, we will be providing Holiday Gift Baskets for the people we serve. We are asking donors to start with a laundry basket and fill it with cleaning supplies, personal care items, gift cards and other family gifts. A list of suggested items is available here.

Your support will help us provide essential items which will be distributed to individuals and families in our housing programs throughout the year.

CHN’s peer-to-peer giving option is an awesome way to support our work! The page gives you your own link as an easy way to spread the word and support the fundraiser. Your team can come to the same place on the website to donate. You are able to see our organization’s goal and how much we need to meet that goal. In these times of remote working, it is a great way to streamline your team’s giving at the holidays to a great cause.

Cash donations are accepted throughout the year and are used to support families and individuals in our housing programs.
Our office is currently closed to the public. When donors arrive at the donation center, staff will be there to check you in, unload all donations from your car, and finalize receipt information. Donors will not be permitted to enter the building at any time.
Donation Drop Off Dates: December 7th and December 12th, 8:30am-5:30pm.
